Aim

Moving Ahead with CRED introduces youth workers to the topics of community relations, equality and diversity and provides an opportunity to explore personal values and attitudes, provide information and explore how these topics impact upon our educational settings.  This is a very interactive course which will provide delegates with a range of resources which can be used in their individual youth units and schools.

Course Content

• Overview of the CRED policy
• Review of the issues facing the young people who attend our schools/youth centres
• Media Influences
• Resources available and sample CRED activities
• Examination of personal values and beliefs
• An opportunity to gain an insight into the experiences of adults from a range of cultural backgrounds.

Course 3:- 2 day’s training – not residential
