This DVD clip outlines a Project  working with young people from Black Minority Ethnic (BME) background  in the Lisburn area.

The SEELB in partnership with SELB successfully applied  for funding through the YSEP, European Programme. They consequently developed a project to work with young people from BME communities in Lisburn.  An audit of need was carried out and research into the experiences of young BME people was completed.  Once an advisory group was established, a variety of projects were initiated for young people.

The DVD clip includes interviews with some of the young people involved in the project.  They describe their experiences and their journey.  The key message coming from the young BME people is to get involved and the experiences were extremely beneficial.
