Aim

The Embedding CRED Course will enable teachers and youth workers to explore and develop their existing practice and to consider the policy within the context of their work setting, including educational curricula, extra-curricular activities and the policies within the school or youth unit.

Course Content

• Overview of the CRED policy
• Personal and professional experience.
• “The Big Picture” exploring your youth unit/ school in relation to CRED.
• Assessing the quality of provision.
• Introducing the Audit Tool.
• Programme Planning
• Resources available and sample CRED activities
• Examination of personal values and beliefs
• An opportunity to gain an insight into the experiences of adults from a range of cultural backgrounds.

Course Cost – FREE

Course Date: 9^th March 2015 – 10^th March 2015.

Course Venue: Delamont Outdoor Education Centre (This is a residential Course).
